Sonya is a graduate of the Kresser Institute where she studied functional medicine, ancestral health, and health coaching from renowned clinician and educator Chris Kresser. She is an ADAPT Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach (A-CFHC) and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

Where do I start with this coach?! From the beginning she has an amazing energy and makes you feel comfortable and at ease to share. She is a great listener and gives such great advice, helps you work through life and its many obstacles with so many different tools. I love her having you summarize the plans you come up with together, the accountability, and the actual results that come from following through with her. Holistic Approach

I have had really bad gut issues for many years and have tried a lot of things to fix them. After a difficult elimination diet, I figured out some triggers but had no idea how to implement that information into my everyday life. A friend suggested I speak with Sonya and do some health coaching. I was quite skeptical at first because I wasn’t exactly sure what I was signing up for. Was it nutrition coaching? Was it therapy? Was it a diet fad? I always thought this kind of thing would have food and body shaming and preachy societal body ideals involved. Which was absolutely not the case! Sonya’s holistic approach and down-to-earth demeanor made me feel very comfortable opening up about my struggles. Learning about how much everything is connected made me feel way less impatient and angry with my “problem” areas. Also, being able to speak to her about my emotional state and what was going on in my life that affected how I was feeling physically was an amazingly helpful experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable, funny and compassionate. I felt like she really listened to me and gave me great advice at the speed I was able to take it. Having her as an accountability partner helped me stick to a lot of my goals and she always had such a positive response, even when I was feeling like I hadn’t “done enough”.
